James Creasman is a Los Angeles native and graduate of UCLA (B.A.) and Biola University (M.Div). He entered formal ministry after graduation from university in 1979, serving with Campus Crusade for Christ for two years in Asia. Following seminary, he pastored for thirteen years in Los Angeles, serving in an Evangelical Free Church and an Evangelical Covenant Church.
Since 1997, he and his wife Kimberly (a talented creative artist) have made their home in China (2 yrs) and Singapore (11 yrs) with their two boys, Tyler (18) and Cameron (14).
After serving with the Singapore Centre for Global Missions (formerly SCEM) for several years as a China ministry consultant, James founded Church Resource Ministries (Singapore) in 2003. CRMS facilitates peer-mentoring groups for pastors, and personal coaching for Christian leaders. Their vision is to mentor spiritual leaders for every church and ministry in Singapore, and to establish apostolic mentoring teams in every country in Asia.
